Rene Marie Russo is an American actress filmmaker and a former supermodel. Her elegant and beautiful beauty Marie is reflected in her long-lasting career as a performer and actress. As a young model, she began her career in the 1970s. Her popularity quickly grew in the field of modeling. Beginning in the 1980s she began taking acting classes, and was a theater student before appearing on theater stage of Los Angeles. Russo first appeared on television on ABCs Sable with the character Eden Kendell, in 1987. Her debut film, Major League was released two years later. Russo was Tom Berengers 'love interest. Although she was initially skeptical of her abilities in the field of acting, critics were won over because of her tenacity. The critics loved her most in the film Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak in which she stood her ground in the face of Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. She has admitted that acting isn't something she enjoys. The actress took a self-imposed absence in the year 2005. In the movie Thor it was her return to acting. Also, she was in the Oscar winning film Nightcrawler that was written and directed by her husband. The Intern, and Just Getting Started were humorous comedies that she appeared in.

Rose Namajunas ranks among the best UFC female fighters. She started out as an amateur fighter who participated in regional competitions, before signing up with Invicta Fighting Championships. Then she became a member of the Ultimate Fighting Championships. After joining the UFC the fighter has quickly been a household name thanks her achievements both in and out of the Octagon. Namajunas was a Lithuanian who immigrated to the United States. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on the 29th of June, 1992. Rose participated in sports such as basketball as well as kickboxing while she was growing to be a teenager. At 18 years old she had her first professional fight at Invicta Fighting Championships where she fought two times by submission. This caught the attention of Dana White who signed her to be a part of the UFC the strawweight division on December 14, 2014, when she was just 22. Rose has experienced the highs and lows of her professional career. But she has always been a winner. Rose took on Carla Esparza at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in April 2015. Rose was awarded the Women's Strawweight Champion and was also named the Fighter of The Night. It was the very first time that a female wrestled in a major event for a championship. Namajunas had a number of wins following this one, and received the title of Performance Of The Night by UFC in her fights against Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
