Taylor's professional career started on YouTube. She started by making ASMR videos with her smartphone. PewDiePie included her in his video about gaming shortly after she reached 50,000 subscribers, about 1 1/2 months after posting her first video. After two months, close to 100,000 subscribers, Taylor quit producing content for her Youtube channel. She also put all her content private. The reason for this was difficulties with her new equipment, and also being overwhelmed by her popularity. Taylor began making videos following an absence of one month. This included the extremely famous ASMR Ten Triggers To Help You Sleep. (35,000,000 views in the end of August, 2022). ASMR Twenty Triggers to Sleep, a video that was very popular in July of 2017, has now been watched by more than 38 million people as of August 20 in 2012. She appeared in August 2017 featured in the Shane Dawson videoand shortly after she reached 1 million users on YouTube. Wired UK, in its February issue, estimated that she earned $1000 per month through the YouTube channel.

Dennis Helfer (born in Donalda, Alberta) and Elaine Helfer (born in Donalda, Alberta), were his parents. She is from German as well as English descendance. She studied at William E. Hay Composite High School located in Stettler, Alberta. Three sisters she shared with were raised on their family's grain farm. An agent scout spotted Helfer aged 17 when she was waiting in line for a screening.
