Miley Ray Cyrus was born Destiny Hope Cyrus on November 23, 1992, in Franklin, Tennessee and raised in Thompson's Station, Tennessee to Tish Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus. She is the youngest of five siblings, including two sisters and brothers younger than her. The parents named their daughter Miley in the hope that she would achieve success. Miley came to be her nickname in childhood. Smiley because of its cheerfulness. Her father was an influential Democratic politician named Ron Cyrus. Cyrus was the first student at Heritage Elementary School in Tennessee. Her family relocated from Tennessee Toronto Canada when she was eighteen years old. Billy Ray Cyrus took on the role of Doc (2001) as a lead on the TV show. At this point, Cyrus also decided to become an actor. She played alongside her father, Doc (2001), in the initial part of this film. She also scored a small part on Tim Burton's Big Fish (2003). Cyrus was the lead role in Hannah Montana (2006). The show is about an adolescent who lives a life that is like the world's biggest pop star. Cyrus was accompanied by her father once more. This show became a hit and tours sold out along with hit albums and merchandise deals followed. Cyrus quickly became a popular teenage phenomenon. After the huge success that was Hannah Montana 2006, Cyrus changed roles. She was Ronnie Miller and Lola alongside Demi Moore in The Last Song 2010 and LOL 2012.
